Breathing and energy

Cardiopulmonary health

Heart and lung conditions often show up as a day that is too tiring: the shower, the meal, the walk to the mailbox. Occupational therapy teaches how to pace those tasks and when to stop.

Questions

Is this cardiac rehabilitation?

No. This is occupational therapy for daily tasks. It does not replace a cardiac or pulmonary rehab program ordered by your physician.

Can you help with oxygen equipment?

The visit can include how oxygen tubing and tanks fit into dressing, bathing, and moving through the house.
